Terms of service
Purpose
These general terms govern the relationship between Guimapex SRL (Bellemansheide 50, 1640 Rhode-Saint-Genèse, BE1015033239) and its clients in connection with the provision of installation and replacement services for VELUX roof windows, roof lanterns, roller shutters and blinds in Belgium. Guimapex SRL does not engage in online sales: these terms apply solely to the provision of services.
Quote requests
Any quote request can be submitted via the form available on guimapex.be, by phone or by email. The quote is prepared free of charge, based on the information provided by the client (type of project, number of windows or units, preferred availability, project description) and, where applicable, a site visit.
Acceptance of the quote
The quote provided by Guimapex SRL only becomes binding on the parties once expressly accepted by the client (signature, written or email confirmation). The quote is valid for a limited period, specified on the document, beyond which prices and terms may be revised.
Performance of services
Installation, replacement or fitting work is carried out according to the terms agreed with the client (timelines, site access, VELUX or equivalent materials). Indicated timelines are given for guidance only and may be adjusted depending on weather conditions, material availability, or unforeseen circumstances related to the nature of the work.
Price and payment
Prices are those stated in the quote accepted by the client. Unless otherwise agreed, a deposit may be required before work begins, with the balance due upon completion of the services, according to the terms specified in the quote or invoice.
Liability
Guimapex SRL implements the necessary means to properly perform the services, with the care and diligence of a professional in the field. Guimapex SRL's liability cannot be engaged for damages resulting from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the client, an undisclosed pre-existing defect in the roof or building structure, or force majeure.
Applicable law and disputes
These general terms are governed by Belgian law. In the event of a dispute, the parties will endeavour to reach an amicable solution. Failing agreement, the competent courts of the judicial district of Guimapex SRL's registered office shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
